English translation

835. Ya'la bin Umayyah narrated: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saw a Bedouin who was in Iḥrām wearing a cloak. So he ordered him to remove it.” (Saḥīh)

Arabic text

٨٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ ‌عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ ‌يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، قَالَ: «رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْرَابِيًّا» قَدْ أَحْرَمَ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَنْزِعَهَا.
