English translation

1050. Abū Marṭhaḍ Al-Ghanawī narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not sit on the graves nor perform Salāt towards them.” (Sahih) (Another route) with this chain, and it is similar.

١٠٥٠ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌هَنَّادٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ ‌بُسْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ ، عَنْ ‌وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي مَرْثَدٍ الْغَنَوِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَجْلِسُوا عَلَى الْقُبُورِ» وَلَا تُصَلُّوا إِلَيْهَا. وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَعَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، وَبَشِيرِ ابْنِ الْخَصَاصِيَّةِ. ١٠٥٠ (م) - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ - بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، نَحْوَهُ.
