1136. Jābir narrated: "We said: 'O Messenger of Allāh! We practice 'Azl, but the Jews claim that it is minor infanticide.' So he said: 'The Jews lie: When Allāh wants to create it, nothing can prevent Him.'" (Da'if)[2] He said: There are narrations on this topic from 'Umar, Al-Barā', Abū Hurairah, and Abū Sa'eed.
١١٣٦ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: «قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَعْزِلُ»، فَزَعَمَتِ الْيَهُودُ أَنَّهَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ الصُّغْرَى! فَقَالَ: كَذَبَتِ الْيَهُودُ، إِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَهُ فَلَمْ يَمْنَعْهُ. وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُمَرَ، وَالْبَرَاءِ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ.
