Text and translation

English translation

1324. Anas narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever seeks to be a judge, and asks others to intercede for him with it, then he will be left on his own. And whoever is coerced into it, Allāh sends an angel down to him so that he can be correct." (Ḍa'if) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Ḥasan Gharīb. It is more correct than the narration of Isrā'īl (no. 1323) from 'Abdul-A'lā.
