English translation

1740. Anas narrated: "The ring of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was made of silver, its Faṣṣ was from it."[1] (Saḥih) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadith is Hasan Saḥih Gharib from this route.

Arabic text

١٧٤٠ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌زُهَيْرٌ أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ ‌حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ‌أَنَسٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ خَاتَمُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ فَصُّهُ مِنْهُ». هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
