English translation

1813. Sālim narrated from his father, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Do not leave the fire (burning) in your houses when you sleep." (Sāhiḥ) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Ḥadīth is Ḥasan Sāhiḥ.

Arabic text

١٨١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ ‌وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا ‌سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ‌الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ ‌سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَتْرُكُوا النَّارَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ حِينَ تَنَامُونَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
