1827. Zahdam narrated from Abū Mūsā who said: "I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ eating chicken meat." (Sahīh) [He said:] The Hadīth has more statements than this. And this Hadīth is Hasan Sahīh. Ayyūb As-Sakhtiyānī also reported this Hadīth from Al-Qāsim At-Tamīmī, and, from Abū Qilābah, from Zahdam Al-Jarmī.
١٨٢٧ - حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ لَحْمَ دَجَاجٍ» وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ كَلَامٌ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ هَذَا. وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَقَدْ رَوَى أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ أَيْضًا عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ التَّمِيمِيِّ وَعَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ.
