1860. Abū Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Whoever spends the night with [a smell] on his hand and something happens to him, then let him not blame anyone but himself.” (Ṣaḥīḥ) [Abū ‘Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Hasan Gharīb, we do not know of it as a narration of Al-A‘mash except through this route. ١٨٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ الصَّاغَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ بَاتَ وَفِي يَدِهِ رِيحُ غَمَرٍ» فَأَصَابَهُ شَيْءٌ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ. لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأَعْمَشِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
