English translation

2238. Abū Bahriyyah, a companion of Mu‘ādh bin Jabal narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “The great Malhamah, the conquest of Constantinople, and the coming of the Dajjāl occur in (the span of) seven months.” (Da’if) [Abū ‘Eisā said:] There are narrations on this topic from Aṣ-Ṣa’b bin Jath-thāmah, ‘Abdullāh bin Busr, ‘Abdullāh bin Mas’ūd and Abū Sa'eed Al-Khudrī. This Hadīth is Hasan Gharīb, we do not know of it except from this route.

Commentary

It will be a long-drawn bloody war that will last more than six years. The Dajjāl shall appear in the remaining seven months of the seventh year.
