2565. [From Yahya bin Abī Kathīr, concerning His (Allāh's), the Mighty and Glorious, statement: "Then they shall be in gardens living luxuriously" He said: "Listening."] And the meaning of listening is similar to what has been mentioned in the Hadīth that Al-Hūr Al-Ein raise their voices]. (Sahih)
٢٥٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ «فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {فَهُمْ فِي رَوْضَةٍ يُحْبَرُونَ}. قَالَ السَّمَّاعُ: وَمَعْنَى السَّمَّاعِ مِثْلَ مَا وَرَدَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّ الْحُورَ الْعِينَ يَرْفَعْنَ بِأَصْوَاتِهِنَّ».
