English translation

279. Al-Barā' bin 'Āzib narrated: "The Ṣalāt of Allāh's Messenger ﷺ (was such that) when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, and when he prostrated, and when he raised his head from prostration, it (all) was nearly the same." (Ṣaḥīh) He said: There is something on this topic from Anas.

٢٧٩ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ ‌الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنِ ‌الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَتْ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَكَعَ»، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، وَإِذَا سَجَدَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ السُّجُودِ: قَرِيبًا مِنَ السَّوَاءِ. وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ.
