Commentary

They would do inappropriate and abhorrent things in their gatherings, hurling stones on the strangers and wayfarers, and making fun of them was a part of their misconduct. Breaking wind aloud, pulling down the waist garments of others, whistling, playing dice, cards and to commit indecent acts were their favorite activities. Nawāb Ṣiddīque Hasan Khan mentioned many of their misconducts in 'Fath Al-Bayān'. [Tuhfat Al-Ahwadhi: vol. 4, p. 160]
