English translation
(1). 3352. Anas bin Mālik narrated that a man said to the Prophet ﷺ: "O best of creatures!" So he said: "That is Ibrāhīm." (Sahīh) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Hasan Sahīh.

٣٣٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: «قَالَ رَجُلٌ» لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: يَا خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ، قَالَ: ذَلِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Commentary
The Prophet ﷺ said this to show humbleness and humility for the respect and dignity of his great grandfather Ibrāhīm ﷺ; otherwise he ﷺ is the chief of the children of Ādam, and he is the best of the creatures; because he is most superior in the degree of Faith and good deeds.
