English translation

3416. Rabī'ah bin Ka'b Al-Aslami said: "I used to spend the night at the door of the Prophet ﷺ, so that I may give him his water for Wudū', and I would hear him, for a long period of the night, saying: 'Allāh hears the one who praises Him (Sami' Allāhu Liman Hamidah). And I would hear him, for a long period saying: 'All praise is due to Allāh, Lord of the all that exists. (Al-Ḥamdulillāhi Rabbil-Ālamīn).'" (Ṣaḥīḥ) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Ḥadīth is Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ.
