English translation

3443. Sālim narrated that when he intended to undertake a journey, Ibn 'Umar used to say to a person to "Come close to me so that I may bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to bid us farewell." Then he would say: "I entrust to Allāh your religion, and your trusts, and the last of your deeds (Astawdi'ullāha Dīnaka Wa Amānataka Wa Khawātima 'Amalik).” (Hasan) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Hasan Ṣaḥīḥ Gharīb from this route as a narration of Sālim bin 'Abdullāh.
