English translation

(5). 3604. Abū Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Indeed, having good thoughts concerning Allāh is from the perfection of the worship of Allāh." (Hasan) This Hadīth is Gharīb from this route.

Arabic text

٣٦٠٤ (م ٥) - حَدَّثَنَا ‌يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌صَدَقَةُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَاسِعٍ ، عَنْ ‌سُمَيْرِ بْنِ نَهَارٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ حُسْنَ الظَّنِّ بِاللهِ مِنْ حُسْنِ عِبَادَةِ اللهِ». هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
