Al-Musāwir Al-Himyārī narrated from his mother who said: "I entered upon Umm Salamah, and I heard her saying: 'The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to say: "No hypocrite loves 'Alī, and no believer hates him." (Da'if) [He said:] There is something on this topic from 'Alī, [and] this Hadīth is Ḥasan Gharīb from this route. [And 'Abdullāh bin 'Abdur- Rahmān (a narrator in the chain) is Abū Naṣr Al-Warāq. And Sufyān Ath-Thawrī reported from him.]
٣٧١٧ (م) - حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ ، عَنِ الْمُسَاوِرِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ قَالَتْ: «دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَسَمِعْتُهَا» تَقُولُ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: لَا يُحِبُّ عَلِيًّا مُنَافِقٌ، وَلَا يُبْغِضُهُ مُؤْمِنٌ. وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ. وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
