English translation

3777. Abū Juhaifah said: "I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and Al-Hasan bin 'Alī used to resemble him." (Ṣaḥīh) This Hadīth is Hasan Ṣaḥīh. [He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Abū Bakr Aṣ-Ṣiddīq, Ibn 'Abbās, and Ibn Az-Zubair.

٣٧٧٧ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ» يُشْبِهُهُ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ.
