English translation

3848. Jabir bin 'Abdullāh said: "I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, saying while the funeral of Sa'd bin Mu'ādḥ was in front of them: 'The Throne of Ar-Raḥmān shook due to it.'" (Sahīh) [He said:] And there is something on this topic from Usaid bin Ḥuḍair, Abū Sa'eed and Rumaithah. [Abū 'Eisā said: And] this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ.

٣٨٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ‌أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ‌جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ: «سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ، وَجِنَازَةُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ» بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمُ: اهْتَزَّ لَهُ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ. وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ حُضَيْرٍ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، وَرُمَيْثَةَ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ.
