English translation

3882. ‘Aishah said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to me: ‘Indeed Jibrīl gives his Salām to you.’ So I said: ‘And upon him be peace and Allāh’s Mercy [and His blessings.]’” (Ṣaḥīḥ) [Abū ‘Eisā said:] This Ḥadīth is Ṣaḥīḥ.

٣٨٨٢ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنِ ‌الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ ‌عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ» يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ، فَقُلْتُ: وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ.
