English translation

3903. Abū Ṭalḥah said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to me: 'Convey my Salām to your people, because I know them to be modest and patient.” (Ṣaḥīḥ) [He said:] This Ḥadīth is Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ [Gharīb].

٣٩٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَبُو دَاوُدَ ‌وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيُّ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ‌أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي طَلْحَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَقْرِئْ قَوْمَكَ السَّلَامَ، فَإِنَّهُمْ مَا عَلِمْتُ أَعِفَّةٌ» صُبُرٌ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
