English translation

4. Jābir bin ‘Abdullāh, may Allāh be pleased with them, narrated that Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said: “The key to Paradise is Ṣalāt, and the key to Ṣalāt is Wuḍū’.” (Hasan)

Arabic text

٤ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَنْجُوَيْهِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ‌وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا ‌الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ قَرْمٍ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي يَحْيَى الْقَتَّاتِ ، عَنْ ‌مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ ‌جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مِفْتَاحُ الْجَنَّةِ الصَّلَاةُ،» وَمِفْتَاحُ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُضُوءُ.
