644. 'Attāb bin Asīd narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said about Zakāt on grape-vines: "They are to be assessed just as the date-palm is assessed. Then its Zakāt is paid in raisins just as the Zakāt for the date-palm is paid in dried dates." (Da'if)
Abū 'Eisā said: This Hadīth is Hasan Gharīb. Ibn Jurāij reported this Hadīth from Ibn Shīhāb, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah. Commentary
It is a known statement that the Ahnāf deny the estimating to determine the amount of fruits, and it looks as if they state the Ahnādīth about the estimation are contrary to the Ahnādīth of Muzābanah, while these Ahnādīth are about selling and buying. Three A'immah are agreed principally on the issue of estimation, as Imām At-Tirmidhī has mentioned. For further detail see: (Mir'āt: 3/74-80)
