English translation

672. 'Āishah narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "When a woman gives from her husband's home, with a good heart, not to spoil it, then she will get a reward similar to his, for her is the good she intended – and the same is for the trustee.” (Ṣaḥīḥ) Abū ‘Eisā said: This Hadīth is Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ. It is more correct than that narration of ‘Amr bin Murrah from Wā’il (a narrator in no. 671). ‘Amr bin Murrah did not mention “from Masrūq” in his narration.

Commentary

‘Not to spoil it’ means she spends reasonably according to what is generally accepted. She does not give away the belongings of the household members to others due to which they would later face difficulty.
