English translation

746. Āishah narrated: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would fast Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays in one month, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the next month." (Da'if) Abū 'Eisā said: This Ĥadīth is Ĥasan. Abdur-Raḥmān bin Mahdī narrated this Ĥadīth from Sufyān, and he did not narrate it in Marfū' form.

٧٤٦ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ‌وَمُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ‌سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ ‌مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ ‌خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ ‌عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ» السَّبْتَ وَالْأَحَدَ وَالِاثْنَيْنِ، وَمِنَ الشَّهْرِ الْآخَرِ الثُّلَاثَاءَ وَالْأَرْبِعَاءَ وَالْخَمِيسَ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَرَوَى عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ.
