English translation

867. Ayyūb As-Sakhtiyānī said: "We considered 'Abdullāh bin Sa'eed bin Jubair[1] to be better than his father, and he had a brother named 'Abdul-Mālik bin Sa'eed bin Jubair who also reported from him." (Da'if)

Arabic text

٨٦٧ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ ‌أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ قَالَ: «كَانُوا يَعُدُّونَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ» أَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَبِيهِ، وَلِعَبْدِ اللهِ أَخٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ أَيْضًا.
