English translation

898. Ibn 'Abbās narrated: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ stoned the Jimār when the sun had passed the zenith." (Ṣaḥīḥ) Abū 'Eisā said: This Ḥadīth is Ḥasan.

Arabic text

٨٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، عَنِ ‌الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنِ ‌الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ ‌مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ‌ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْمِي الْجِمَارَ» إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.
