923. 'Ā'ishah narrated: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ only camped at Al-Abṭaḥ because it was easier for his departure." (Saḥīḥ) Abū 'Eisā said: This Hadīth is Hasan Saḥīḥ. Ibn Abī 'Umar narrated to us: Sufyān narrated similar to us from Hishām bin 'Urwah.
٩٢٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «إِنَّمَا نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْأَبْطَحَ» لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَسْمَحَ لِخُرُوجِهِ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. ٩٢٣ (م) - حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، نَحْوَهُ.

All the scholars agree that camping at the valley of Muḥassab is not a part of Hajj, if some one does not encamp there, there is no harm in it, and there is no penalty on him.
