English translation

3659. It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbās said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'You hear and others will hear from you, and people will hear from those who hear from you.” (Da’if)

Arabic text

٣٦٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ⦗٣٢٢⦘، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَسْمَعُونَ وَيُسْمَعُ مِنْكُمْ وَيُسْمَعُ مِمَّنْ سَمِعَ مِنْكُمْ»
