English translation

3065. Hārūn bin 'Abdullāh said: "Muḥammad bin Al-Ḥasan Al-Makhzūmī said (regarding no. 3064): 'So long as the hooves of camels do not tread upon it'" meaning that camels eat whatever is in reach of their heads, and whatever is beyond that is protected. (Ṣaḥīh)

3065 - حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ: «مَا لَمْ تَنَلْهُ أَخْفَافُ الْإِبِلِ» يَعْنِي أَنَّ الْإِبِلَ تَأْكُلُ مُنْتَهَى رُءُوسِهَا، وَيُحْمَى مَا فَوْقَهُ
