3071. It was narrated that Asmar bin Mudarris said: “I came to the Prophet ﷺ and pledged allegiance to him. He said: ‘Whoever reaches that which no other Muslim has reached before him, it is his.’” He said: “The people went out rushing and competing to mark the land.” (Da'if)
3071 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ جَنُوبٍ بِنْتُ نُمَيْلَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا سُوَيْدَةَ بِنْتِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا عَقِيلَةَ بِنْتِ أَسْمَرَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا أَسْمَرَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَايَعْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: «مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَى مَاءٍ لَمْ يَسْبِقْهُ إِلَيْهِ مُسْلِمٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ» قَالَ: فَخَرَجَ النَّاسُ يَتَعَادَوْنَ يَتَخَاطُّونَ
