Commentary

a. The background of this incident is that as the economic position of Muslims became better, as a result of conquests; the mothers of the Believers 'the wives of the Prophet ﷺ' saw the well - off position of the women of Ansār and immigrants, upon which the wives of the Prophet ﷺ also requested him to increase their living expenses. b. A choice of divorce given to a wife by a husband is not a divorce, however if the wife takes advantage of the choice and decides for separation, then it will be considered one revocable divorce.
