If a person act as a guarantor for guarantee to another person, saying that he will return the debt in time, or on demand, and the debtor fails to return it, the guarantor is responsible to return it. He should pay the debt from his own pocket and receive it later from the debtor. Payment of a debt is a must even if the debtor dies. It should be paid from his legacy, and if the legacy is not enough to cover the amount of debt, his heirs are responsible to pay off the debt.
