English translation
[2238] 89 - (965) It was narrated that Jâbir bin Samurah said: "An unsaddled horse was brought to the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ and he rode it when the funeral of Ibn Ad-Dahdâh was over, and we were walking around him."

89 - (965) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ - وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَحْيَى - قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا، وَقَالَ يَحْيَى: - أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: «أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِفَرَسٍ مُعْرَوْرًى، فَرَكِبَهُ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ مِنْ جَنَازَةِ ابْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ، وَنَحْنُ نَمْشِي حَوْلَهُ»
