English translation

[4141] 2 - (1615) It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbâs said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Give the shares of inheritance to those who are entitled to them, and whatever is left, then it is for the closest male relative.'"

2 - (1615) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ وَهُوَ النَّرْسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا، فَمَا بَقِيَ فَهُوَ لِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ»
