English translation

[2223] 79 - (...) Abû Az-Zubair narrated that he heard Jâbir say: “The Prophet ﷺ stood up for a funeral that passed by him, until it had disappeared.”

Arabic text

79 - (960) وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ: «قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِجَنَازَةٍ مَرَّتْ بِهِ حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ»
