English translation

4542. It was narrated from Zaid bin Thâbit that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ granted a concession allowing 'Arâyâ sales by estimation. (Sahîh)

Arabic text

4538 - أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا تُبَاعُ بِخِرْصِهَا»
