English translation

1388. 'Ikrimah narrated from Ibn 'Abbās that the Prophet ﷺ made the blood-money twelve thousand. (Hasan)

Arabic text

١٣٨٨ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُعَاذُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ ، عَنْ ‌عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ ‌عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ‌ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ «جَعَلَ الدِّيَةَ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ أَلْفًا».
