Text and translation

English translation

1391. Ibn 'Abbās narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "The blood-money for the fingers on the hands and (the toes of) the feet is the same: Ten camels for each finger." (Ṣaḥīh) [Abū 'Eisā said:] There are narrations on this topic from Abū Mūsā and 'Abdullāh bin 'Amr. [Abū 'Eisā said:] The Ḥadīth of Ibn 'Abbās is a Ḥasan Ṣaḥīh Gharīb Ḥadīth from this route. This is acted upon according to the people of knowledge, and it is the view of Sufyān Ath-Thawrī, Ash-Shāfi'i, Aḥmad, and Ishāq.
