English translation

493. (Another chain) from 'Abdullāh bin 'Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ which is similar. (Sahih) Muhammad said: "The Hadīth of Az-Zuhri from Sālim, from his father (no. 492) – and, the Hadīth of 'Abdullāh bin 'Abdullāh bin 'Umar, from his father (a narrator in the chain of this Hadīth) – both of the Aḥādīth are Ṣahih." Some of the companions of Az-Zuhri said that Az-Zuhri said: "The family of 'Abdullāh bin 'Abdullāh bin 'Umar narrated to me, from 'Abdullāh bin 'Umar." [Abū 'Eisā said: Regarding Ghusl on Friday, it has also been reported from Ibn 'Umar, from 'Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ, and it is a Hasan Sahih Hadith.]

٤٩٣ - وَرُوِيَ عَنِ ‌الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ أَيْضًا، حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ ‌قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ ‌ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِيهِ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ. وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: وَحَدِيثُ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَحَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ كِلَا الْحَدِيثَيْنِ صَحِيحٌ. وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي آلُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ. وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَيْضًا، وَهُوَ حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ.
